Your Family Clinic: Parent Autism Support Group via Zoom
Starting September 18, 2020, for those who live in the Hattiesbug, Mississippi area, we will have a zoom support meeting every 3rd Friday at 5:30 p.m. (1730 in military time). We hope to have a guest presenter and then turn the time over for parents to ask questions to the presenter and/or talk with each other. The purpose of this support group is to attempt to find economical methods to help children who are on the Autism Spectrum to get off of the Autism Spectrum or at least improve functioning significantly. We will all be working together to make this happen.
The support group is completely voluntary. It is also provided free of charge. Your insurance company will not be charged or even notified of your participation.
The following information is what is needed to get on Zoom the third Friday of each month:
We will have a guest speaker.
Our guest speaker for November 20th will be Mrs. Betty Laurie Ryba, CFNP. She is a Nurse Practitioner in Hattiesburg, MS. She will be speaking about toxins and some genetic abnormalities that result in excessive toxin build up in the body that affects mental health. Specific she will talk about the MTHFR gene and how it relates to toxins and things that can help. She will also talk about other topics as well and answer questions. The support group is to last an hour. Those that want to leave at an hour, please feel free. Those that want to stay and chat with others, also feel free. We hope that you can make it. The support group is available to anyone who has a child on or near the Autism Spectrum. Please feel free to invite others. This event will be recorded and posted for future viewings. You can participate annonymously if you wish. To participate annonymously, just do not identify yourself and do not use your video when you join the Zoom meeting.
